This unique yoga session offers the perfect blend of nature, movement, mindfulness, and good vibes inviting you to set the tone for a chill day at SoCal VegFest amidst the beauty of being outdoors.

Yoga has been apart of my life for nearly 20 years and has played a huge roll in how I live daily. Because these very accessible exercises, techniques are scientifically proven to help with stress, anxiety and depression, etc I teach my students how they can not only improve on the mat but how can they apply and function off the mat or meditation cushion. I often leave the class with a food for thought and for them to carry on for inspiration when life gets hard. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Anthony Filkins began his yoga journey in 2009 when he joined a Bikram Yoga class and noticed an ecstatic sense of familiarity mixed with fresh discovery with the poses. He felt an innate connection with this stream of energy as he explored other forms of yoga such as vinyasa, yin, kundalini, and acro.
He eventually received his 200 hour teacher training at Yogaworks and his 300 hour at Cloud Nine Yoga from which his teaching career expanded alongside his personal practice.
Anthony utilizes the lessons he has learned from yoga in becoming more aware of his physical and emotional states of being and being able to guide them more intentionally as well as accept them for where they are at any point in time. His goal in teaching his students is to offer them an empowering experience that will bring them a greater sense of awareness and gratitude for their bodies as well as their situations in life.
